The ACIES Cocoon pendant necklace pairs red enamel with hand-oxidized sterling silver, the enamel worked into the channels between each raised band. The form tapers to a point at both ends and closes around itself. Against the darkened silver the red reads deep rather than bright, holding its warmth as the light moves. The cord runs red leather along one side and sterling silver chain along the other, at 80 cm long enough to pass over the head.
